NHS Lanarkshire is looking for an experienced optometrist to provide professional leadership and advice to the Board and to support improvement in care for patients in Lanarkshire.
You will be interested in taking opportunities to develop clinical services and to support optometry colleagues and to build multidisciplinary relationships.
You will have the opportunity to influence future eye care provision in Lanarkshire, and as part of the network of Scottish Optometric Advisers, across Scotland.
You will provide professional and clinical support to Optometrists in relation to ongoing provision of GOS and associated services. This includes the GOS Specialist Supplementary Service, the Community Glaucoma Service (CGS), and other new services as specified by NHS Lanarkshire.
