The Public Dental Service NHS Dumfries and Galloway are looking to recruit a Dental Officer

Come and join the Public Dental Service as a Dental Officer. You will be part of an existing team that provides a vital service to all of our special care patients in a variety of settings.
You will have an opportunity to work in other PDS clinics which will allow you to see the beautiful scenery that Dumfries and Galloway has to offer. With this in mind you must be able to travel independently.
While this post will provide comprehensive clinical care you will be responsible for supporting the provision of emergency and urgent care to unregistered patients. The post holder will also support delivery of domiciliary treatment sessions.
This post may provide sessions within other Public Dental Service sites but will predominantly be based at Dumfries Dental Centre which is based within the stunning grounds of the Crichton in Dumfries itself. The Dental Centre is a purpose build facility with excellent surgery space with wonderful views over the rolling hills. The centre houses a teaching wing where we have dental outreach and therapy students.
This post offers full time ( 37.5) hours however there is scope for review on this and other work patterns will be considered.
This post is eligible for the Recruitment & Retention allowance, i.e. dentists who fulfil eligibility criteria will receive £25,000 paid over 2 years.
Support and funding for relevant Post Graduate Qualification may also be considered.
