An exciting opportunity has arisen within Audiology for a full time Senior Audiology Technical Officer( Assistant) to cover various sites across both community and acute NHSL wide
The post requires
- Under supervision, a practicing healthcare professional who assists Audiologists in a range of patient care and clinical duties, both adult and paediatric patients
- Offers telephone advice to patients.
- Carries out routine tasks in hearing aid repair clinics, including hearing aid provision, taking ear mould impressions and adaptations within departmental protocols
- Provides auxiliary support to Paediatric ENT clinics, including setting up and organising the clinic rooms
- Assesses and monitors patient reactions during testing at Paediatric Audiology clinics
- Provides Administrative support within the Audiology Department
- Provides domiciliary support in the community, within departmental protocols
- Full Current UK Driving licence with access to a vehicle
