An exciting opportunity has arisen within the beautiful Scottish Borders for a Permanent Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist within the Children & Young People’s Team
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Speech & Language Therapist to work with Children & Young People with Additional Support Needs and/or Eating & Drinking Difficulties at Universal, Targeted & Specialist levels. This post will oversee and drive the work of SLTs within this client group and contribute to overall SLT Service development and improvement. You will also be responsible for providing day to day management, supervision and leadership for a small group of staff.
Within NHS Borders we actively encourage working across the 4 pillars of practice, and participation in CPD activities, and offer the opportunity to further develop skills and knowledge in line with the Promoting Excellence framework to Enhanced Level.
The successful applicant must have a degree in Speech & Language Therapy, a post graduate qualification in Paediatric Eating, Drinking & Swallowing Difficulties and be registered with HCPC.
A driving licence is essential and a leased car may be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.
This post is a permanent 30-hour post, base to be confirmed.
