Applications are invited from candidates with significant experience in Radiopharmacy.  You will act as the named Production Manager of our MHRA licensed Radiopharmacy and be responsible for its day to day operation.  This is a great opportunity for someone to develop the work of the Radiopharmacy. 


Candidates should have a relevant degree or equivalent relevant knowledge and experience, and at least 5 years experience in Radiopharmacy, ideally including management of staff and resources.  A specialist qualification in Radiopharmacy would be an advantage.  


 The Radiopharmacy operates from 7.00am Monday to Friday, providing the full range of radiopharmaceuticals and a blood labelling service. The unit is purpose built and well equipped with two isolator suites. The Nuclear Medicine Section is equipped with two dual-head gamma cameras both SPECT/CT systems and, and is led by a Consultant Physician in Nuclear Medicine and a Consultant Clinical Scientist.


There are close links with the hospital’s Department of Pharmacy and the role is supported by QC Pharmacist, who is the named QC Manager on the license.  The Section is also well supported by Administrative staff.
