The shift pattern for this position is within normal business hours.
A 12 month (0.5WTE), fixed term vacancy has arisen for a Band 8A Principal Psychologist within East Renfrewshire adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). This service provides high quality mental health care and treatment to individuals in East Renfrewshire. The postholder will deliver high intensity and highly specialist Psychological Therapies within the multi-disciplinary team, and supervise the delivery of psychological interventions and therapies delivered by other staff.
You will be a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, registered as such with the HCPC, have experience of the delivery of evidence-based psychological therapies to adults, either gained via training or post-qualification, and have undertaken (or be eligible for) formal training in the supervision of psychological interventions delivered by others.
The postholder will join the large and dynamic South Glasgow/East Renfrewshire Psychology department and enjoy extensive support and CPD opportunities. Candidates recently qualified, or about to qualify, will be considered.
