Renfrewshire HSCP provides a range of community health and adult social work services to the population within the area defined by the local authority boundary of Renfrewshire Council (approximately 175,000). We have 28 GP practices, 35 general dental practitioners, 44 community pharmacists and 19 community optometrists. The post reports to the Planning and Performance Manager and key tasks include: supporting performance improvement across a range of functions and services in Renfrewshire; providing support to the Strategic Planning and Health Improvement Service functions to ensure the delivery of policy, planning, service change/development, redesign, project management and evaluation to support effective implementation of national and local strategies.  The post-holder will be assigned specific work streams to project manage and work across a range of services. This role will focus on project and performance management, handling complex information, undertaking research, analysis and audit and producing high quality reports.  You should be educated to degree level or equivalent in business administration, project management or similar discipline, or can demonstrate a similar level of knowledge gained through a significant period of work preferably in the Health and Social Care sector. You should demonstrate an ability to use project management techniques and processes and have specialist knowledge of web based content management systems. You will be experienced in the use of database management and reporting, using analytical skills and have knowledge of and competent in the use of Microsoft Office and keyboard skills. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure, making decisions and dealing with numerous concurrent tasks of varying timescales. You should be a skilled writer with the ability to provide effective, credible communications. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday.​​​​​​​
