Intensive CPN Team (previously known as CRT) are continuing to meet the demands of the service and as a result ICPNT are looking to recruit band 5 staff nurses.

You should have a sound understanding of Mental Health Disorders. You should have a registered qualification as a mental health nurse and be able to demonstrate continuous professional development.

You should be able to evidence current statutory and mandatory training being up to date and show a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work using your own initiative and as a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community. You should also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of current mental health policies and mental health legislation.

As an RMN with evidence of professional development, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in an Acute Mental Health environment is desirable.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is a condition of this post and the successful applicant will require to join the scheme prior to appointment.

A car owner/driver is essential with full driving license essential.

You will be expected to work flexibly within a 24 hour service.
