Would you like to be part of the exciting expansion of our Orthopaedic Theatres?

We have an opportunity for enthusiastic nurses to join our team at the NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, as we expand our Orthopaedic Theatres with 5 new theatres opening in 2023. Join the team and learn the knowledge and skills required to be an excellent theatre practitioner.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in our pioneering robotic programmes - the Rosa and Mako robots.

There is an opportunity for further learning and development in this role, with in-house development courses on offer. Our Clinical Education team is also on hand to provide support, from staff induction to delivering monthly education days.  For example, Basic Life Support, Manual Handling and speciality specific training sessions.

As we continue to expand our services, this is your chance to become part of a progressive, dynamic, person centred and reputable team, within a world-renowned healthcare organisation.  The post holder should demonstrate excellent communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.  A commitment to providing high quality, evidence based, safe and effective patient-centred care is essential.

This role requires flexible working over 7 days and covering on call rotas overnight and at weekends.
