As a Staff Nurse you will join the team in Ward 2A, University Hospital Crosshouse.
Ward 2A is a busy 35 bedded orthopaedic trauma receiving ward. Following reconfiguration of Trauma & Orthopaedic services in 2021, we deliver a pan Ayrshire care service within the Trauma Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse.
You will be responsible for the care needs of a caseload of patients. With focus on admissions, discharges and pre and post-operative care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required in order to collaborate with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, ensuring the patient journey is both positive and safe and care is delivered in a manner which is both professional and person centred.
You should be a Registered General Nurse Level 1 with current NMC registration and you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to collaborate with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, ensuring the patient journey is both positive and safe with care being delivered in a manner which is both professional and person centred.
Hours: 37.50 per week
