Band 7 Pharmacists ECMS Medical Specialties (3 posts)

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced pharmacists to join the dynamic medical team at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI). You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and provide person-centred pharmaceutical care to a wide range of medical patients with often complex needs. The GRI is one of the largest acute hospitals in the UK and has an excellent team of friendly pharmacy staff committed to modernisation of services. There will be the opportunity to gain experience in a range of specialties including respiratory, gastroenterology, rheumatology, endocrinology and cardiology along with working on our busy medical receiving unit, medical high dependency and the hyper acute stroke unit.

You should have a Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Commitment to CPD in line with GPhC requirements and completion of the Vocational Training Scheme – Foundation Framework or equivalent is essential. Working towards a postgraduate qualification or an independent prescribing qualification are desirable.

These are permanent posts with full time hours; these hours will be worked Monday to Friday with participation in weekend, public holiday, extended hours and on call shifts.
