We are looking for a self motivated, dedicated and experienced Service Lead to join the Macmillan Community Cancer Support Worker Service across Highland and Argyll & Bute. The Service Manager has line management responsibility for 6.2 WTE Cancer Support Workers and 0.4 WTE Clerical Assistant as well as responsibility for reporting on activity of 8 WTE acute based, Single Point of Contact Cancer Support Workers. The post is based within Cancer Services, Raigmore Hospital.
 
The aim of the Community Cancer Support Worker Service is to make sure that people affected by cancer can access the right help at the right time for the individual.  The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, experience of line managing staff and budgetary control as well as proven organisational and analytical skills.
