Hospital At Home Nurse Practitioner
(Annexe 21 Trainee Nurse Practitioner applicants considered
band 5 (£28,384 - £35,365 per annum )
Salary Band 6 £35,522 - £43,286
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,201
37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join an evolving Hospital @ Home team. Hospital @Home consists of 6-12 virtual beds and provides hospital care for patients in their own homes preventing admission to or reducing the length of time people require to spend in hospital.
Applicants will have RN1 Adult level registration with the NMC. Applicants should have completed the Non-Medical Prescribing and CAAP modules of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Programme. Applicants wishing to be considered for the trainee post would require to commit to undertaking the above studies.
The applicant should be a skilled practitioner able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a flexible team orientated approach. The practitioner should work well as an individual but also within the wider clinical teams. Experience of working in acute areas as well as caring for patients in their own homes is desirable. The applicant should work well under pressure and in stressful situations.
Shift patterns and hours of work negotiable and flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service across 7 days including public holidays. Post holders would require to hold a driving licence and have access to a car.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
