NHS Tayside Catering Service is looking to recruit an individual to provide nutrition and dietetic expertise to support the implementation of the HIS (2014) Food, Fluid and Nutritional Care Standards and the Scottish Government (2016) Food in Hospitals Specification and ensure compliance with required nutritional related standards across the non patient catering service.
You will have responsibility for the nutritional analysis of recipes and menus, advising and working with the catering team to ensure standards are met. You will be responsible for the updating and implementation of aspects of the NHS Tayside Food, Fluid and Nutritional Care Policy that relate to the provision of food and fluid. You will play a key role in peer review of NHS Tayside’s performance against the Scottish Government (2016) Food in Hospitals Specification. You will also provide leadership in relation to projects that lead to an enhancement of food and fluid provision across the service.
