An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and develop person centred care across NHS Forth Valley. Person Centred care is a strategic priority for NHS Forth Valley and as such provides the post holder with the opportunity to take forward key strands of work to ensure services are focused on the needs of the people who use them and to support staff to deliver reliable person-centred care across all settings.
The post holder will provide the strategic vision and leadership required to support staff develop a culture where patients, the public and staff experience is at the heart of the design, delivery and improvement of services across NHS Forth Valley.
The post holder will be responsible for managing a number of services under Person Centred Care such as the Patients Relations Service, Independent Advice and Support, Spiritual Care Service, Bereavement Services and Volunteering.
This is a permanent position reporting directly to the Executive Nurse Director/ Director of Nursing.
We are seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated staff with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to deal with staff at levels and with experience of dealing with difficult and complex situations.
Candidates must be educated to Masters Level, or equivalent, with evidence of further development in a management role. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and have had previous experience of implementing change and managing a team.
