The Facilities and Estates Sector of NHS Grampian provides a wide range of essential services which directly support the continuous (24/7) delivery of high quality & safe care to patients, staff and public, across the entire organisation.

NHS Grampian Estates Department has an opportunity for a skilled “Maintenance Worker Specialist (Mechanical Assurance)” Craftsperson to help provide maintenance support across all NHS Grampian properties while being based on the Foresterhill Campus.

This post will require the candidate to travel throughout NHSG sites to maintain, repair, operate and fault find on a wide range plant and equipment, necessary for the provision of a high quality, safe, efficient healthcare service. It will include, but not limited to, review ventilation risk assessments and close out any ventilation audit actions.

The candidate should have completed a recognised and registered EITB or CITB (or equivalent) craft apprenticeship or City and Guilds qualification. The candidate should also have good communication skills, experience of working as part of a team and be computer literate.

This post is a Band 5 position and is permanent, full time post and offer excellent terms and conditions.​​​​​​​
