An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic strategic nurse leader to join the Grampian Vaccination Transformation Programme. The post holder will lead the strategic delivery of all nursing aspects of the Vaccination Programme, working with Health and Social Care Partnership colleagues to support, develop and deliver nursing leadership and governance to the constantly evolving vaccination programme across Grampian. The post holder will work closely with local and national leaders and requires strong interpersonal and well developed communication skills, as well as the ability to lead, influence and problem solve within this role.
This post requires a registered nurse with considerable senior experience, in-depth knowledge of vaccination best practice, and who has remained up to date with current national guidance around all vaccinations delivered across all age groups.
The post holder will ensure the clinical aspects of the programme are fully embedded with clear planning, coordination, implementation, governance and delivery for Grampian. The post holder will have a key role within the Vaccination Leadership Team, bringing essential nursing knowledge to the expert group.
Within this post there is a strong emphasis on Clinical Governance and the post holder will be required to support this agenda in the safe and effective delivery of the Vaccination Programme across Grampian whilst adhering to National policy.
There will be travel throughout Grampian vaccination sites to understand the programme and to build relationships across Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City.
