An exciting opportunity for a permanent Business Analyst/Project Lead has arisen in our NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) eHealth Operations Applications Team.
As a Business Analyst/Project Lead (BA/PL), you will work closely with healthcare professionals across the NHSGGC Board to develop digital technology that will help transform services to provide a truly integrated and modern health and social care service.
You will lead the successful specification, initiation, reporting and delivery of complex clinical and non-clinical technology solutions as set out in the eHealth Digital Strategy. The eHealth BA/PL post will include a varied and interesting range of project management duties and you will work with services across the Acute, Adult and Children, Community, Corporate and Mental Health. Communication will also include other external organisations and as such a high level of interpersonal communication skills is expected.
You should bring significant experience in successful IT project delivery, project management, systems implementation, collaborative approaches, working with end-users, working with suppliers, and working with wider IT operations teams to deliver services required to support projects. Experience would also be beneficial in any of business analysis, testing, user-centered design, data and innovation. A keen interest in developing robust, scaleable and novel solutions is essential.
You should be educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge gained through significant practical experience; have significant experience delivering IT / digital projects; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and experience of working with suppliers and stakeholders. Experience of working in IT applications implementations and systems integrations would also be advantageous.
Shift pattern is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The team follow a ‘blended working’ approach with option for mix of working from home, working from your base office in Paisley at Westward House, Board Sites and occasional travel between sites across the West of Scotland so a driving license is preferable.
