An opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian to join our dietetic team based at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. This post will work as part of our multi-professional team alongside Specialist Dietitians, who will provide training and supervision. The post holder will have an opportunity to provide a service to patients within a variety of settings including inpatient wards within the Royal Edinburgh Hospital site as well as outlying area sites. It is an exciting opportunity, for a dietitian who has a keen interest in mental health. The post holder will become a valued member of the wider multidisciplinary teams. This post is rotational, with 4 rotations in total, including community malnutrition and weight management.

You would be expected to participate in student training (A, B and C placements) and provide clinical support for other dietitians who are on leave as part of the Community Dietetic Team.

We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with a supervision framework, annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop clinical skills.
