Do you have the ability to effectively lead, manage and develop Health and Social Care Team(s) in South Aberdeenshire? Location Managers support teams to deliver high quality, person centred health and social care within the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership by empowering locality teams to meet the challenges faced in the immediate future, including increased demand and increasingly scarce resource, whilst working to the vision of the Health and Social Care Partnership. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the committed, motivated and resilient South Management Team.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
This is a Politically Restricted position as identified by the Local Government and Housing Act 1989. Further information on restrictions as a result of this designation is available.
This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
This post has a minimum requirement of two references, one of which must be from your current or most recent employer.
It is Aberdeenshire Council’s procedure that applicants for vacancies of this nature require to attend an assessment centre as well as interview.
