Join NHS Dumfries and Galloway as we carry forward our programme of transformational change in health and social care for our communities and our workforce. Expert Organisation Development consultancy, and professional leadership of OD services and programmes of change and staff wellbeing will be integral to our success. We are seeking an experienced, influential, confident and collaborative OD leader, who can operate at both strategic and operational  levels to bring alive and deliver a portfolio of programmes relating to Organisation and Culture development and staff wellbeing, to come on the journey with us for the next 2 years. 

This is a senior management role within the Workforce Directorate, reporting to the Workforce Director. The post holder will lead our OD and Wellbeing agendas  as part of the senior Workforce management team, and will carry a joint responsibility, in collaboration with the other senior team members and the Employee Director, for the overall development and implementation of the Boards Workforce Strategy.

Educated to Masters level (or equivalent experience) in HR/OD or a related discipline, you will already have senior OD Management experience within a complex set of services within the public, voluntary or care sectors. You will have experience of the complexities, policies and structure of both the health care and the wider health and social care environment, and will show us how you have applied your OD skills, experience, style and values to support service and cultural transformation and improvement.
