Are you a skilled leader who has the passion and energy to provide excellent professional and operational management for the South Glasgow Paediatric Community Speech and Language therapy Team? Consisting of speech and language therapists, clinical support workers and supported by team leaders, the team provide impact driven care for referred children aged 0-18, while providing universal and targeted supports alongside families, our health, social care and education colleagues.  With a strong focus on culture, well being, quality improvement, change and
engagement, you will work with an experienced group of speech and language therapy managers to ensure cross system coordination, consistency of service provision in GGC and benefit from all important peer support.  The postholder is responsible to the service manager within Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership for the planning, communication and delivery of services at a strategic level, based on reliable activity and performance data; patients and family experience and care outcomes.  Ensuring the development of effective working arrangements with partner services, including the local authority education department, to ensure services are equipped to appropriately support the speech, language and communication needs of children and their families is key to this role.  GGC have a strong commitment to the effective supervision, support and development of all colleagues and compliance with all national and professional guidelines, policies and directives including clinical governance and risk management.  The SLT managers role is to ensure robust systems are in place for adherence and implementation of all governance of care.
