Operational and Performance Lead for Medicine and Unscheduled Care (MUSC) Portfolio
This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership and direction in the planning, management and provision of all clinical and non-clinical services within the Medicine and Unscheduled Care (MUSC) Portfolio of NHS Grampian. Working with strategic partners, you will have the opportunity to develop and support an integrated whole system approach for the planning and delivery of medicine and unscheduled care services to the people of Grampian.
As an integral member of the MUSC Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will be accountable for all staff and services within the Medicine and Unscheduled Care portfolio. This includes INSERT and out-patient clinics on the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary site as well as some services delivered from Dr Gray’s Hospital.
Responsible to the Chief Officer and Portfolio Executive Lead, the postholder has managerial responsibility for the MUSC portfolio revenue budget which is in excess of £110M and for over 1000 staff across a wide range of professions. The postholder will be an integral member of the MUSC Senior Leadership Team.

You will also be a strong leader and be able to demonstrate integrity and management skills and have a proven track record of achievement in leading, managing, and effective and efficient delivery of services. Additionally you will have developed and maintained effective, positive relationships with key stakeholders, and demonstrated the ability to manage and implement change.
