The Emergency Department has an exciting opportunity for a motivated compassionate HCSW with a minimum of 2 years acute experience, to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills as an Emergency Department Assistant . The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undergoing training specific to the Emergency Department to allow them to fulfil the varied work the post involves. As a valued member of the team the EDA works closely with Medical and Nursing staff . Applicants should be able to work in a busy sometimes stressful environment and be able to use their initiative. Computer skills would be helpful. We have a strong Team ethos and prioritise staff training.
