Remote GP Clinician Post

Newburn HC seek a clinician to work in an exciting role, involving telephone, video and email consultation for patients remotely.
Who are we?
We deliver clinical care to circa 34,000 patients with a population demographic covering Aberdeen city centre, Northfield and a significant population around Aberdeen University at our Old Aberdeen site. This allows for an interesting and varied clinical workload.
We operate a total triage model of care augmented with eConsultation and video consults. We are constantly innovating and developing new ways of working. We are a medical student teaching and GP training practice.

The Package:
- Paid induction sessions to learn the system.
- Use of a remote consultation laptop, and mobile phone, to make calls.
- Sessions available in evenings/weekends and daytime hours.
- Regular ad hoc sessions or salaried posts are available.
- Very competitive salary with medical indemnity cover for salaried GPs.
- Option for mixed working with some sessions on site in a triage hub.
Who are we looking for?
- GPs who are actively on the performers list in Scotland.
- Clinicians with excellent communication skills.
- Dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic GPs who want to work differently.
- Previous experience of triage/telephone consultation essential
- Able to commit regular sessions
Applicants must be General Practitioners who are living in Scotland and on a performers list. They must be registered to practice with the GMC.
