We are looking for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our exciting and varied rotation. This post provides the opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic therapist to gain experience within a rotation in the Acute Sector, Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Services. New OT graduates are welcome to apply.
We are adding a new rotation into Orthopaedic rehabilitation . Other rotations include:- Elderly Assessment and Rehabilitation, Medical, Elective and Trauma Orthopaedics, Acute Stroke and Stroke Rehabilitation, Community Hospitals, CAARS Community Rehabilitation, Oncology, Vascular and the Frailty Pathway. The rotational period is 6 months in each service area.
The post will involve working closely with Senior Occupational Therapists and multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams to assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions in a number of settings, both inpatient and community, throughout Grampian.
Opportunities for continuous personal development (CPD) are encouraged with regular supervision, in-service training programme and access to Band 5 Support Group.
