Clinical Security Liaison Manager
AfC Band 7 plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,494.43 per annum and a High Secure Clinical Responsibility Allowance of £3,586.78 per annum

The State Hospital is the national high secure mental health facility for Scotland and Northern Ireland. We have an opportunity for a permanent position at Band 7 for a motivated and enthusiastic clinician, with a strong commitment to delivering safe and secure care within a high secure environment. Working as part of a highly skilled multi professional team, the successful candidate will provide Clinical Security information and management advice taking the lead in the Hub Management Team on Clinical Security issues. The successful candidate as part of a small team of Clinical Security Liaison Managers will also provide hospital cover as the duty manager, this will include weekends and evenings, reacting to any emergency within the hospital providing leadership and support. This will include involvement in incident command situations including the autonomy to decide when the incident command team is required
Experience
- A qualified clinician, with specialist knowledge and proven ability to work with people with mental health/forensic problems.
- Extensive operational experience in a secure environment is required.
- Leadership and management skills and experience.
