We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join the AHP orthopaedic team in the South Sector of Glasgow. The post holder will provide expert direct clinical care, which encompasses Occupational Therapy (OT) assessment, treatment and management of patients as part of the orthopaedic occupational therapy in patient service. You will clinically be responsible for  rotational OT’s and support workers, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis. You will lead in service development and implement service change. You will provide an equitable person centred service providing assessment and treatment interventions with evaluation, enabling patients to achieve their maximum independence. The service may be provided in an acute rehabilitation, day surgery, clinic, outpatient or community setting. It is essential that you are educated to a BSc/Diploma in Occupational Therapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant post graduate experience with previous clinical experience in Orthopaedics, both trauma and elective upper and lower limb. It is essential that you are computer literate including use of email and internet skills. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills. This is a temporary, full time post. You may be required in the future to work over seven days.
