TRAINEE HEALTH VISITOR
Across NHS Grampian we are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated registered nurses or midwifes to undertake the MSc Advancing Practice (Health Visiting)
Throughout the duration of the course you will be embedded within an existing Health Visiting team in either Moray, Aberdeehshire or Aberdeen City. You will work alongside experienced health visitors to support you to develop and consolidate your academic learning into practice. Robert Gordon University have the potential to run a 1-year full time and a 2-year part time course commencing September 2023. A first degree is desirable however evidence of studying at SCQF Level 10 or 11 is essential within the last 5 years.
During the course you are required to complete 2 fulltime 10-week placements and a further three weeks alternative practice. It is essential that you are available to undertake these full-time placements to accrue the required clinical hours as stipulated by the NMC. Therefore, all annual leave must be taken out with these practice placement times.
Prior to interview which will take place week beginning 29th May into June 2023, you will be required to submit a 500-word report if you are shortlisted. Further details will be confirmed following closing date and successful short listing and interview appointment.

The potential start date as a Trainee Health Visitor will be from late July 2023 employed on fixed term contract B7, Annex 21 will apply. On completion recruitment to permanent position within Grampian.
