The Respiratory Nurse Specialist Service are looking to recruit a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist. The successful candidate will complement the existing Respiratory Nurse Specialist team. We are seeking an RGN with at least 5 years post registration and at least 3 years respiratory / acute medical / community experience at Band 5 and appropriate post registration qualification / relevant experience.

This service aims to provide COPD Early Supported Discharge and home support of patients who could avoid admission during exacerbation of COPD and also to support people with advanced lung disease remain in their own home. We are also involved in the management of both inpatients and outpatients with Asthma. This post offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to be a part of the Respiratory Nurse Specialist service. It is anticipated that the post holder will be based within the North East Sector of the service (Glasgow Royal Infirmary).In return we will offer the opportunity to further develop your career in a friendly & supportive environment.
