As a sonographer you will work within a busy teaching hospital providing Ultrasound examinations across - both General and Obstetric departments. You will undertake Ultrasound examinations and provide diagnostic reports for area of speciality (eg General, Small Parts, Gynaecological, Obstetric and Paediatric Ultrasound examination). You will be responsible for the day to day running of own work area within the ultrasound suite.

Full driving licence and car driver is essential as you will be expected to travel as required to work in all NHS Ayrshire and Arran sites. 

Hours: 37.5 per week (part-time hours will be considered) - You will be required to work flexible 7.5 hours shifts Monday to Sunday.  You would be expected to take part in weekend and Public Holiday cover also.
