We are recruiting 2 full-time Registered Nurses for the Neonatal Unit at the University Hospital Wishaw
The post holder will assist the Senior Charge Midwife or Charge Midwife/Nurse in the overall delivery of high-quality evidence-based family-centred care. The post holder will be involved in providing both individualised patient care and in planning, implementing and evaluating clinical care within all areas of the neonatal unit, ensuring compliance with NHS Lanarkshire’s policy and procedures and maintaining statutory requirements in accordance with the NMC. To provide safe, effective person-centred care.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
Registered General Nurse/ Sick Children’s Nurse on NMC Register
The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent time management skills
Working knowledge of basic information technology
