We have an exciting opportunity to join our rotation for band 6 specialist occupational therapists. You will be supported to develop your specialist clinical experience across our acute services and contribute to our progressive service improvement projects.
The rotation will encompass-
Medical
Surgical
Orthopaedics

To attract the best of staff we offer flexibility of permanent and part-time working. We have a forward thinking, strong leadership team in place and occupational therapy and AHPs are well represented and respected. We actively support student practice education across Scotland for occupational therapy and other professions.
You should have excellent communication skills as well as strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills. Evidence of developing clinical services and staff is essential. There will be a commitment to weekend working in the occupational therapy team at RIE as part of the 5 over 7 day working pattern.
We have strong network links via an excellent bus service and have a very reliable and comfortable free NHS shuttle bus to an easily accessible free Park and Ride car park.
Therapy Services actively support staff development through appraisal process, supervision and CPD opportunities.
Please note for part time hours, this will be paid pro rata.
