Full Time – 37.5 hours per week. Part time hours can be considered
Band 4 - Salary Range £25,914 - £28,187 per annum plus
Distant Island Allowance of £2,119 per annum
Lerwick GP Practice handles around 4000 patient appointments every month. In this busy role you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the Practice to the benefit of patients, clinicians and other Practice staff. You will be required to work closely with the other Reception Supervisor and Practice Manager to provide an efficient and effective administration service. This includes both supervision and training of Practice Receptionists, ensuring data accuracy within the patient administration system and contributing to overall service improvement.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and inter-personal skills as well as good organisational and record-keeping skills. They must be self-motivating and able to work on their own initiative with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities. They have should good IT skills and be able to plan and organise their own workload and that of others with no direct supervision to meet numerous deadlines.
