Looking for a new dietetic opportunity to innovate, lead and develop in neonatology?  These newly funded posts may be for you, working as part of the Neonatal MDT based at University Hospital Wishaw.  The hospital has good transport links for the Central Belt. You will be working as part of a team of Band 7 and Band 6 Dietitians to provide excellent, timely evidence-based dietetic interventions. The team will be leaders in the development of neonatal care for Scotland.  The post will involve inpatients and outpatients onsite at the University Hospital Wishaw and has the potential for some remote clinical work. These posts are open to applications for part-time and full-time work. 

The post holder will be an active member of the Neonatal team promoting gold-standard nutritional care.

The Neonatal MDT consists of consultants, advanced nurse practitioners, midwives, discharge liaison nurses, pharmacists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists and the infant feeding team.

The role will include

Direct Clinical care

Inpatient ward rounds, MDT meetings, MDT and dietetic outpatient clinics

Providing strategic leadership and direction, locally and nationally

Service development

Creating clinical pathways

Collection and interpretation of data to ensure successful clinical outcomes

Education, training and support of health professionals and others providing neonatal care

The newly established dietetic team will work closely together and support each other to deliver evidence-based care.
