Band 3 Occupational Therapy Support Worker
Inverurie Community Hospital
Part time 18.75 hours per week (Permanent)
£25,468 - £27,486 (pro rata, per annum)
A position has arisen in the Inverurie Occupational Therapy team based mainly in the community hospital at Donbank ward, Inverurie. We are looking for a well-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic Band 3 Support Worker with an interest in rehabilitation.
The post holder will work closely alongside Occupational Therapists but may also be required to work on their own at times in both the hospital and community settings. We are looking for a support worker with excellent communication, time management and IT skills. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this post.
Regular supervision will be provided with training opportunities on the job and via the local Occupational Therapy Support Worker training programme. Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous and potential candidates are encouraged to visit the department to learn more about the role before applying.
