TESTING SUPERVISOR SPECIALIST (ELECTRICAL)
NHS Grampian Estates Dept has an opportunity for a Testing Supervisor to supervise the day to day electrical inspection and testing of electrical fixed wiring installations covering all NHSG properties. Supervise the electrical inspection and testing contractors. Issue necessary electrical safety documents such as permits to work. Liaise with heads of department to agree permissions for isolation of electrical services where testing is scheduled.
Arrange work schedules for contractor’s to complete remedial faults highlighted during the fixed wiring inspections and supervise various other electrical tasks to be carried out by NHS skilled ELECTRICAL Maintenance Craftsperson’s to help us to provide our maintenance support service within Grampian Hospital and Healthcare facilities.
This post is a permanent, full time post and offers excellent terms and conditions.
This post is a Band 5 position that currently attracts RRP payment.
The applicant should have completed an electrical apprenticeship and have experience working as part of a maintenance team with experience in Motor controls, 3 phase systems, BMS, fault finding, and electrical installation.
Applicants must possess a current full, driving licence. The post holder will be required to participate in a 24 hour on call rota.
