Salary on consultant scale dependant on experience £91,474 - £121,548 per annum (pro rata for part time staff)

Clinical Director

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with exceptional leadership ability, strong relationship management skills and strong clinical credibility to join Fife’s Health and Social Care Partnership (H&SCP) as a clinical director on an interim basis. They will along with the Head of Service and the Head of Nursing lead the strategic and operational development of the Complex and Critical Care portfolio. 

The role of the Clinical Director is critical to the strategic and future success of the H&SCP’s both within the complex and critical care portfolio, in particular to provide professional leadership for the Mental Health, Addictions and Learning disability services in this portfolio and as part of the wider medical leadership team. As a key member of the extended leadership team you will work closely with clinicians to support the evolving H&SCP and will play a key role in leading on clinical and care governance for the services within this portfolio.

Committed to improvement and change, you will be a leader who can facilitate and support colleagues working within the H&SCP to ensure delivery of organisational objectives and excellence in patient safety, clinical and care governance and patient and staff experience.

The role would be suitable for a current Clinical Director or a Clinical Lead who is seeking to enhance their medical management experience and skills. This is an interim post fixed term for one year.
