We are looking for a highly motivated, fully qualified ANP with primary care/out of hours/urgent care experience to join our well-stablished a friendly team of ANP's in East Highland Out of Hours, with it's base at Invergordon County Community Hospital. This would predominantly be based in East Highland but post holder may be asked to work in other PCEC locations on occasion.
This is an 18 hour a week post, with shift patters consisting of evening, overnights and weekends.
Our Out of Hours service in the Highlands region currently consist of a multi-disciplinary team of friendly, supportive and dynamic GP's, ANP's, Paramedics Practitioners and Drivers with a strong ethos of collaborative team working, in a supportive learning environment.
ANP's work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and are expected to attend to appointments, home visits and advice calls.
Many of the overnight ANP shifts consist of working in an autonomous and lone working capacity with vehicle and driver support for home visits.
Applicants should be experienced and qualified qualified ANP's educated to masters level, and hold independent non-medical prescribing and advanced clinical assessment qualifications, as well as be able to evidence sound and autonomous clinical decision making skills.
Experience in is essential and ALS/BASICs training would be desirable.
