We are looking for an enthusiastic physiotherapy support worker to apply for a temporary development opportunity that has arisen within the Community Physiotherapy team in North Ayrshire. The post is based within Brooksby Medical Resource Centre in Largs and delivers physiotherapy care to people in their own home or care home in the Garnock Valley and North coast areas of North Ayrshire.
You will be allocated a delegated caseload of patients by Physiotherapy staff and be expected to work independently, assessing the patient’s needs and/or modifying existing treatment plans and delivering this care without direct supervision. This includes assessing, progressing and discharging people within the scope of practice.
You will also support the work of qualified physiotherapy staff and assist with non-clinical tasks within the department.
Full driving licence/car driver is essential.
Hours: Up to 22.5 per week, fixed-term to 31st October 2023.
