An exciting opportunity has arisen within the N & W Learning Disability Team  for  a nurse lead/advanced practitioner.  The services within N & W is a cradle to grave service so straddles both adult and children services. 

The post holder will provide professional l nursing leadership and clinical support at an advanced practitioner level to the nursing team and operational managers.  They will support the development of learning disability nursing roles to reflect changing patient need, service demands, governance requirements, service integration along with ensuring  adherence to local policies and nursing and health strategy.  The post holder will carry a small caseload for complex learning disability clients.
