This is a fixed term post of 12 months.

The shift pattern for this position is 8.30am – 4.30am.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the North East Mental Health Service within Adult and Older Peoples In-Patient Services.
To be eligible to apply it is essential that:

  • You are a qualified Physiotherapist with experience of working in a caring environment.
  • Experience of working within the inpatient setting and within Mental Health is desirable.
  • You will be expected to have knowledge and understanding of elderly rehabilitation including dementia.
  • You will be expected to supervise junior staff members and Physiotherapy health care support workers. You will also be expected to supervise and teach students on placement.
  • You will be expected to initiate or participate in service improvement projects
  • You will be required to assist the Physiotherapy Team Lead in managerial responsibilities.​​​​​​​
