POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PERSON CENTRED
PRACTICE PROGRAMME (Health Visiting)

Being a health visitor offers an excellent opportunity to make a valuable contribution to supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people.


NHS Fife are offering sponsored trainee places on the Postgraduate Diploma Person Centred Practice (Health Visiting) Programme commencing September 2023. Successful applicants will join the programme on an Annex 21 basis, and successful completion of this 1-year programme will enable you to register on the specialist part of the NMC register which is essential to being a Health Visitor.

Trainees are paid a percentage of the pay band maximum for the qualified rate which is dependent on the duration of the training period (see Terms and Conditions). 

Please include the following information within your application, otherwise your application will not be considered for shortlisting;
•    Previous academic study to include the name of each academic qualification (s), (do not include Standard grade or Highers)
•    Level of study e.g. Scottish level 9, 10 or 11, for each qualification
•    Year that qualification(s) was/were obtained, for each qualification
•    Evidence of appropriate work experience and supporting CPD activity including what the applicant has learnt from this CPD activity
•    Evidence of motivation to study at Masters level

Please be aware NHS Fife will shortlist and interview in partnership with QMU in order to ensure the academic requirements are met. Applicants will be required to complete an online application to QMU only if successful at interview.
