HEALTH VISITOR
BANFF AND BUCHAN HEALTH VISITING TEAM 
Location: Chalmers Hospital, Banff, Aberdeenshire 
Hours; 22.5 hours per week - Mon to Friday

We would like to invite a flexible, enthusiastic, resilient and dynamic Health Visitor to join our friendly, enthusiastic and experienced Health Visitor team based in Banff and Buchan. This post allows an HV to manage their own caseload, which has child protection and additional families within the caseload. The caseload offers a great variety of experiences. 

Aberdeenshire is a predominantly rural area in North East Scotland, traditionally economically dependent upon the primary sectors (Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing), related processing industries and the energy industry. It covers 6,313 km² or 8% of Scotland’s overall territory, and includes the Cairngorm Mountains, rich agricultural lowlands and varied coastal landscapes. 

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and embrace skill mix team working. Health visiting experience in multi agency working and in child protection is desirable. Good sense of humour essential.
This post would also be suitable for newly qualified or those undertaking their 2nd placement SCPHN training and are due to qualify and be registered with NMC in 2023
Mentorship and Case Supervision is provided on a regular basis.
