We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to take forward Public Health Improvement work based in the Stewartry Home Team.
The post holder will work with individuals and groups from across Stewartry and work closely with the Home Team, GPs and other colleagues from NHS, Third and Independent Sector.
Key qualities required are; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to motivate others and work in an innovative compassionate way.
The successful candidate will need to work independently and as part of the Stewartry Public Health Improvement Team.
Part of your role will be working with people on a 1-1 basis and you will also be responsible for developing projects and initiatives in relation to the needs of local people.
A significant part of the role will also be to provide support to local partnerships to address health inequalities and build community resilience and capacity through community development approaches.
The post holder will also work within the Public Health Improvement Team and The Stewartry Home Team, working locally and regionally to ensure we are using appropriate approaches and models to support the delivery of local and national public health priorities.
