A post has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within Biggart Community Hospital. This role encompasses Physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment within a team of multidisciplinary staff in a general rehabilitation ward. There may also be some outreach work following recently discharged patients to aid their transition back to the community.
Previous experience working within Care of the Elderly, Orthopaedics, Vascular, Stroke and Surgical will be essential.

We offer an active in-service and appraisal programme and peer support by therapists with widespread clinical skills.
The vibrant community of Prestwick in South Ayrshire is situated in the South West of Scotland on the Firth of the Clyde. Ayrshire boasts 80 miles of coastline, a mild maritime climate, picturesque beaches, rolling green hills and islands, and provides access to a large range of outdoor pursuits including watersports, cycling and hill walking. There and are excellent transport links with Glasgow and Prestwick has its own international airport.
You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team.
You must have HCPC registration and member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is highly desirable.
Participation in the on call physiotherapy service is a requirement of the post.
