Applications are welcome for the above fixed term, full time (40 hours per week) post based in Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
This is a four-month fixed term post until 1st August 2023. It would suit a doctor who is looking for additional experience and responsibility in acute hospital medicine. Candidates with more experience will also be considered. It is envisaged that the holder will support the care of general surgical patients at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE) in conjunction with a team of other Foundation Year 1 and 2 Doctors. The post will involve some evening and overnight shifts. There would be opportunity for further training to develop skills and experience depending on the needs of the applicant. This post is not recognised for training purposes.
The post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
