CONSULTANT
NEUROLOGIST WITH AN INTEREST IN PERIPHERAL NERVE AND NEUROMUSCULAR DISORDERS

Applications are welcome for the above permanent, full time (10PA per week) post based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
This is a newly created consultant neurologist post, which will comprise a mix of general neurology and subspecialist neuromuscular/ peripheral nerve work. Its purpose is to contribute to the general neurology service and to develop and provide medical leadership in the management of patients with neuromuscular and peripheral nerve disorders.

Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a licence to practise and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once CESR is awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
