Practice Educator NHS Grampian (Band 7)
Location: Dr Gray’s Hospital Moray
37.5 hrs per week (Secondment/Temporary contract for 1 years maternity leave cover)
We are seeking a motivated, innovative registered nurse or midwife who is passionate about practice education to join our team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a full time Band 7 Practice Educator within the Integrated Practice Education and Development Team, on a secondment or fixed-term basis for a period of 1 year. The post holder will have an office base in Dr Gray’s Hospital with travel across Moray and, at times across Grampian.
The team are responsible for supporting pre and post registration training and education. Applicants will also have the ability to work across NHS Grampian and engage with the nursing and midwifery workforce at all levels to implement change and support ongoing development.
Applicants should be a Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration and;
• Have extensive experience at Band 6 or above, in posts which included supporting, supervising and assessing learners
• Hold a post graduate learning and teaching qualification
• Able to demonstrate leadership skills to motivate and influence change, using highly developed interpersonal and diplomacy skills
