An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Learning Disability Nurse at Band 5 to join a busy integrated community team in Inverclyde. The suitable applicant must be a Registered Nurse with at least one year post registration experience.
Working as part of the multidisciplinary team you will provide a community learning disability nursing service to adults with learning disabilities with other presenting needs including mental health needs, challenging behaviour, autistic spectrum disorders, epilepsy and physical disabilities. You will be a first level registered learning disability nurse with experience working in the community. You should possess a good awareness of local and national policy and legislation in this field.
